So, today I was looking at a little Bowie eye candy:

(Yes, my friends in Bow-awesome-ity, you are welcome.)

Ahhhh, the gorgeous androgyny. I've always loved Bowie's glorious masculine-with-a-hint-of-feminine looks. In tribute, I thought I'd take a stab at something a little Thin White Duke today. Sadly, I have no vest, but I made do.

This combines a little less body con shirt with my oversized, slouchy trousers. Black doesn't photograph details well, but believe me, these pants are big. DH practically cringes when he sees them. People at work ask me if I've lost even more weight. They are loose. Just like Iggy. (See? Wasn't that clever? I managed to get both Bowie and Iggy in the same post? Joy!) I'm too girly girl to go with a masculine oxford, so I drug out my highest pointiest heels to wear with it.

Overall, this outfit feels okay. I wasn't sure I'd wear it again until I photographed it. When I did, I realized that the belt is best lost. So, with the belt out, I think I'll repeat it. I'm always looking to improve, though. Any thoughts on refining this look?
