I had such a good time with Angie and the ladies on Saturday!!!! Still coming off the high, I think...

I decided to wear my handknit cashmere sweater dress and the Blondo boots (which are comfortable for a marathon day of shopping, and kept my legs warm as the wind was rather nippy.) Added my turquoise moto on top for some bright spring color, and a black and white scarf for warmth. I finished it all off with my new red bag. You guys get a rare outdoor WIW shot because my sweet husband offered to take one for me as we were heading toward the car in the morning.

The entire day was absolutely amazing, and of course shopping with Angie is an out-of-this-world experience. It was pretty amazing how she lit up every store she walked into.

My husband got to meet her too, briefly. Afterwards, he turned to me and said, "Wow, Angie is so pretty! And not generically pretty like other women, but really unique and striking." And he said she was super sweet and had an amazing accent. I think he is starting to "get" YLF now, LOL.

I was too busy having fun to remember to take many photos but here is a really cute one of YLF's First Couple. =)

And now for the shopping. I did not actually buy anything - YET. I tried on several items that I am considering going back for/ordering. (I knew I was going to be going back downtown later in the week so I didn't feel like I had to buy everything right then and there.)

Anyway, here are the items I am thinking about:

3: Club Monaco Linen tee in coral. I have been looking for linen tees WITHOUT breast pockets, which is surprisingly hard to find. I probably WILL go back for this one this week, although I'm still torn on sizing (more tailored with well-fitting shoulders, or looser fit with slightly dropped shoulders). Perhaps I'll post from the fitting room to ask you guys!

4: BCBG cropped jacket. This jacket is actually cropped on me (usually they are too long), and Angie liked it a lot. I am thinking it would work for both casual and dressier outfits. The material is actually an interesting textured cotton fabric, which is structured but still breathable, with faux leather accents. Trying to decide if I'd wear it enough to justify the cost. I did just find it with 20% off elsewhere though...

5: Ted Baker floral back waistcoat. The rare Ted Baker item that is not to long in the upper body for me. I love the floral back, but I don't think it's different enough from my existing floral back vest to justify the cost. (The styles are different enough, but the floral backs mean that they both can only be paired with the same subset of tops and bottoms.) I'm going to keep an eye on it in case it goes on sale though.
