I told you all here that I was going to be in a fashion show at my favorite local boutique. Here's what I wore to the show (I modeled clothing from the store, not this outfit), and what I bought afterward, using a gift certificate I received for being a model. (Yes, I'll work for clothes!)

1-3 (the outfit I wore to the fashion show): slouchy distressed skinnies (Silver); mauve floral 3/4-sleeved tee (made by me); cognac cutout belt (Fossil); denim ballet flats with navy cap toe (AGL); bright coral trench coat (Eddie Bauer, Christine trench); navy and tan satchel (Dooney & Bourke).

4-5 (what I bought): dark wash skinnies (Mother, The Looker high rise).

The new jeans are super stretchy and comfy. I also bought a couple of pairs of skinnies at Lucky the other day. I am surprising myself by wanting to wear skinnies again. The fabrics are soft and comfortable lately, and I feel like the new skinnies are flattering. I hope they look okay uncovered--what do you think? I don't want to look like I forgot my pants (i.e., they are too much like leggings).
