First is a does this work. I tried to lengthen a crop sweater with a cami underneath.

cami- old navy
sweater- XX by MEXX
jeans- Vera Wang
boots- Charlotte Russe

second is just a what I wore

sweatshirt- Hurley, the sleeves have zippers on them that didnt show up in pic
jeans- Domaine
Boots- Forever

Kut bootcut jeans. They seem more like a straightleg.

Going backwards:

#3 - The bootcuts look fantastic.

#2 - I have a strong desire to see a silky tunic top with these jodhpurs and boots.

#1 - I think you could go even punkier and wear a patterned Target miniskirt as a haramaki.

I like the bootcuts too :). They don't look like straightlegs - just a more gentle flare on these babies.

I'm with Rachy in preferring to see something soft, long and blousey over the cargos. I like the way you tucked them into the boots.

Wearing a cami under the cropped sweater works with a roomier sweater silhouette. I vote wear this cropped sweater with a flared skirt. It's a nice sweater!

I know slouchy fits are modern, but I have a poisoned eye for them on myself. I do like them on others. I just don't feel good in them. I'd be ok in a looser fitted style though. I love the idea of a flared skirt with this sweater.
