Here is WIW cool rainy Saturday. I am still wearing my last year's EB barely bootcut jeans as my version of straight. I got them for $12, so got 2 pairs, short and long for different footwear--here, short with flats.
#1: Loft sweater
EB jeans
BR belt
VC jean jacket
Ancient Clark's black leather slip-ons

#2, oops very blurry but is same sweater with slipper flats and white bag, anticipating real spring

Are these jeans too weird or dated at this point? I am not actually avoiding the BF's--I like the easier fit a lot- but am trying to get more wear out of my current jeans and may not buy more for this season. I wear at most once a week, so every pair I have means more time on the hanger for the others and also for track pants and such. I have lined BF's for fall and winter.

#3-4--I got this clutch to wear to wedding after trying and shopping at length and not finding the miracle clutch.
I wanted something a bit dressy, but not the typical sparkly ballroom clutch, due to the more informal setting, and going for softer, warmer --my shoes being nude-camel wedges. Also had waffled over using a tiny clutch, but I wanted to be able to carry some "supplies" for DD and her bridesmaids, plus be more useful later. This is faux leather but has a nice soft suede-reptile feel--maybe an oxymoron, but feels nice to carry and the tiny pattern/texture seems to blend with other colors. Also due to the flexible material, it holds a lot while still staying shut with the magnetic closure--something that is a problem with some clutches.

#5 is random impulse buy of a clutch on sale--doesn't show well but it is a small box-clutch, maybe 7" and it just feels great to hold--also a kind of suede-y metallic--it just grabbed my eye as one of the nicer looks in this style I've seen--a little gem. Trouble is, it would only be worn ? once a year and I'm wondering if I just need to return and live my real life and keep my eyes from wandering in the stores. Part of my new year's what am I doing and why process--if I buy this, in budget theory I'm giving up something else. Since it is quite dressy, I am not as likely to work it into regular nights out for plays or dinner--but, who knows?
