Well, I would rarely post outfits if I followed that logic! I adore your closet outfit but my idea is top, bottom, boots. The items themselves need to be more interesting because of that, but I am pretty pared down in style otherwise. Post away - the more of a range we have here, the better!

I'm the exact same way. Can't stand wearing fussy or layered looks, much as I love them on others. Please post more of your simple outfits! I need the inspiration.

It's clear that you know how to choose well-fitting, quality garments. Choosing to layer or accessorize is a form of minimalism -- which is quite chic, actually.

I love the look of the outfit you posted. And I'm sure I'd love the one you actually wore, as well.

I'm often flummoxed by layered looks like this one, too. I like it in theory, but not how it feels on me. I seem to have a higher tolerance for a layered over silk shirt, vs. a crisp one -- the silk feels less "bunchy" to me.

I never feel as if I am wearing an "outfit" when I'm in my work at home wear. A sweater and pants....how is that an outfit? But it's what I wear. I would love to have company from you!
