WIW and Red For Valentine's Day

Hi,

Here are some recent outfits, including red for Valentine's day.

#1-Red for Valentine's day
Couldn't resist sporting some red for the holiday.

#2-Cobalt and Camel
Does this color combination work together?

#3-White and Grey
My first spring closet item (white blazer) from the 'boutique/holding zone', worn for cold weather.

#4-Cobalt and Black
I think this outfit would look better with white jeans.

#5-Burgundy and Leopard
The brown booties are new, with all the snow we have had, I picked up a new, waterproof pair to have some variety (my other booties are black or camel).

#6-Brown booties
Cuffed the jeans to show off the buckle.

#7-White out
Layering white with cream. The top has a lace detail.

#8-Camel and black
The jeans are dark blue, but the top is black.

#9-Print
Haven't worn a print in a while.

#10-White and Leopard
Lots of subtle texture, the top is white lace and the bottoms are velvet leopard print.

These are so fab, Lisa! Your style has become much sleeker to my eye. My faves are 1,2, and 7. They are interesting yet simple--something I find very appealing these days. Your tan boots are the perfect bookend too. I think the hoodie under the blazer is similar to one of my attempts and agree would benefit from more contrast in the bottom half. This reminds me that I need to try this again!

Lisa, you look amazing in every single one. I keep flicking through photos and none stands out as odd one, they are all in perfect harmony. The colours, the proportions, the formulas - they all work beautifully.

Such a great, streamlined set of outfits! My absolute favorite is #8 (big fan of cognac and black together, and the scarf looks great), but I also love the springiness of #3 and the print of the cardigan in #9.

#3 is my fav. Love how you have taken a spring item and totally made it work for now. Love the contrast of the dark jeans with the white top in #10. And the cobalt (works really well with camel) and burgundy are great colors on you!

Angie-Thanks! I hope timing works for a meetup, it would be lovely to see you! My dimple is showing just thinking about it. And I will happily take some killer ratings for these looks. They are fun to collect.

Kellygirl-Thanks! I noticed my style has shifted from a year or two ago, I used to wear a lot of solids and add texture and print with a scarf. Lately I am adding more texture and print from the pieces themselves instead of the accessories.

Ornella-Thanks! I thought of you when I wore the red jumper, because you look amazing in red!

Aubergine-Thanks! I am also a fan of black and camel paired together.

KKards-Thanks! I try to pick seasonal pieces in year round fabrics. The white blazer would not have worked as well if it were say linen blend instead of a cotton (and I would be too cold in our winter in linen anyway).

April-Thanks! #3 is actually a repeat outfit from last year, and still a favorite of mine too.

Rachylou-Thanks! #1 was such an easy look because there were no accessories to add. But I had lots of texture with the built in cowlneck on the jumper and the leopard print on the jeans.

MuseumGal-Thanks! The jeans are a current favorite of mine too. They add texture to any look.
