Last Friday I took a photo, or rather had my co worker take it, with the intention of posting here immediately.
Well, work took over, the weekend rushed by in a flash and despite my best intentions....here it is several days late.
The skirt is a light khaki from Talbots, the white tank from Kohls and the ikat print cardigan from Loft. I actually took it to England for my recent trip and wore it a few times. I like it so much because it's very light, not like a regular cardigan, and because I find the print so fun.
The other photos are of my recent purchases. Although the shops are already focusing on autumn, I thought that since I live in such a hot climate, I could get away with summer garments/shoes a bit longer. The heat index today was 104!
When I was in my closet taking these photos, I realise I have a bit of a thing for wedges. It's also funny that they are red(orange), white and blue, or rather navy. I seem to gravitate toward these colours quite frequently, it seems. The bag is a lovely off-white Calvin Klein hobo that was on sale at Macy's. I didn't have a light summer bag so when I saw this it had to come home with me. Now how do I keep it clean.....
