I have been a style space cadet (when it comes to myself) lately. Nonetheless I will boldly post and see if anyone can help me see straight.

1/2 The trousers are too long. But assuming I have them hemmed somewhat, what do you think? And which bag do you prefer? (Because, of course, the week after I bought a black and white bag at an outlet store I found another one I liked at a thrift store!)

3/4 So Gap started their sale here and so of course I had to try this jacket that matches my hair. But it is too short and the sleeves too long right? Planning to return.

5 What I wore underneath 6. I really wore this, but I think I look ridiculous!

Any comments appreciated, no need to respond to my questions specifically if you don't feel like it!

No clue on the trousers, but I like the bag and jacket! And you do not look ridiculous.

I like the contrast of the structured bag better with the slouchy trousers. Not sure about the length - maybe an inch shorter? You still want a bit of scrunch I think.
I don't think the moto is too short, but you're right the sleeves are a bit too long. And I think you look great in 5/6.

Shevia, I love those pants. A little shorter and I think they would be perfect. Re the bags, I am not sure. #2 isn't my preferred cross body style and #1 is quite cool looking.

I do love the jacket but sadly I think you may be right about it being too short BUT perhaps it's really a cropped jacket ???

I kind of like #6.. it's a little crazy but very appealing.

ok, I LOVE #1! I think you can shorten the trousers by 1". I prefer a white bag but I am on a team high contrast.
For Gap jacket - I think it is a good length. It is a moto style, it is supposed to be on the shorted side. You don't have that lint problem Ceit had with it?
Love that red coat with BF jeans and you look so cool in this hat!

Never 6 is my fav. Love the bold red coat with the contrast of the black and white scarf and the hat is just sassy and screams confidence. You look fab!

Jumping up and down in ecstasy about the pants in #1!! Those are absolutely stunning! Where did you turn those up? I think you can shorten by somewhere between 1-3 inches...how is that for being useless. My excuse is that I can never decide if I left my own slouchy trousers too long. Maybe so. But some days I like them that way.

On the bags -- I like the high contrast of #1 and the structure of #2. So I am rather useless on this score as well.

I am agreeing about the length of the jacket - -it is meant to be a bit cropped. But perhaps it is betwixt and between on you, neither here nor there -- not truly cropped but not long enough to cover what you want covered? Or maybe you are just influenced by the insane weather your country has just experienced?

You look stunning in the red coat and hat as well as what you wore beneath it. And I hope it offered a measure of protection from the elements.

Suz, of course you know about the "big storm"! I hope your step-kids were ok in Jerusalem. My niece lost power for a bit but by now everyone is fine. We just got days of non-stop rain and relatively cold temperatures (highs in the 40s! They should be back to 60ish today). I was fine in my get up, but looking at the picture I was beginning to wonder.

Deborah crazy but appealing might be my secondary style descriptor!
The trousers were a consignment purchase and I will get them shortened a bit.

Sveta, it is hard to say about the shedding as I have only worn it the jacket to try on. You are right it probably is supposed to be cropped, but I just don't think I will wear it. I was influenced by our cold snap, but the truth is I have so many winter weather coats already.

Like the pink coat (it looks more pink than red in person), which I will now wear with more confidence!

Working backwards -

#6 - I love the coat but not sure about the hat & scarf - one or the other imo.

#5 is fab, the jeans look great here.

#3 & 4 I like the jacket but feel it needs a darker, very simple pant. It fights a little with the jeans imo.

#1 & 2 I LOVE the pants & wouldn't take them up much if at all. As far as the bag goes I like both colours but I think the darker one is better because of the long strap.

The slouchy slacks look amazing on you. I wish I could find a similar pair. I also think shortening them, maybe upwards of 2" will work best. I prefer the black structured bag with this outfit. Fabulous coat!

I do think the trousers (1/2) could be shortened. They look slouchy and loose except snug/short in the rise. Or maybe it's just the picture angle. Or maybe you need to wear them just an inch lower on the waist / hips.

I like both bags with this outfit!

As for the jacket, are the sleeves alterable? Can you shorten them? Otherwise I like it on you.

And what's wrong with your WIW? I think it's fab in every way -- and you know I am not shy about offering up suggestions how to tweak this or that. Love the bright coat!

I like the white bag. I don't mind the length on the trousers--I think they look good with the extra scrunch. It's hard to tell with the photo only from one angle (I think a side view would show more).

I too would prefer to see the jacket a little longer and the sleeves a little shorter. It's hard to tell for sure about the length of the jacket because the bottom of it blends in with your top. I suppose it is meant to be cropped, but I think that a little longer jacket would look better. :^)

Maybe should sit a little lower. Do the have knit cuffs, or can you hem them s but if needed? Anyway, you must either keep or keep looking for the same style.
What Caro said re: the jacket-/ the ombré needs a darker bottom.

I LOVE the trousers on you and think they would be perfect if they were a bit shorter. I prefer the black bag. I saw the GAP jacket while shopping the other day and really like it on you...the length of the body and the sleeves work for me, especially over a dark top.

I really like the moto on you, it's supposed to be cropped. I wish I didn't have the lint problem with it!

The slouchy pants look just made for you!

And the jacket really does match your hair. I think you need it because of that alone! I don't think it's too short, but the sleeves do look maybe a bit long. Can they be rolled or altered?

And #6 isn't ridiculous at all!

Thank you all. I do like the bright pink coat and the hat and the scarf but all together is a bit much to see on myself. But it was cold that day!

The moto had promise - and I did love how it matched my hair - but I have already returned it or rather exchanged it for some clothes for DH, which, frankly, he needs a lot more than I need a wool moto!

I am going to play around with the slouchy trousers length and the various booties I will probably wear with them. Your wise advice is much appreciated!

Shevia! I like the trousers, but probably they have to be shortened a bit. Did you tried them with the new moto? Lovely jacket, but find it has to be worn with a sleek, longer layer underneath. I love the bags, pls. keep both:-)

Shevia, I'm glad to hear you're keeping warm and dry! You are killing me with your fabness. First of all, I love your slouchy trousers! No help with the length though, maybe Angie can advise. The cross body bag is a fun one, I'm not used to seeing structure in one and I like it a lot. Very neat, tidy and squared away (which I love). Let's see, what else? Your WIW under the pink coat is perfect. I love the pink coat, and we've seen that hat before, right? I love them separately, but maybe wouldn't wear them together as they each make quite a statement. That said, wear that pink coat with confidence! It looks great on you. I'm not seeing any space cadet at all. I love that you're brave enough to experiment like this, you can't achieve great style if you're afraid to take risks.

As you all know, I'm not a fan of pleated trousers, but darn if you don't make these look amazing. I like the length, but I am always in the camp of erring on the side of longer rather than shorter.

I love the black and white of the moto on you, but it does look a wee bit big. I don't think it looks too short, but I see the sleeve issue. I wanted to try this jacket too, but I have enough motos.

The red coat outfit is bold and dramatic and there's nothing wrong with that! You look so wonderful in that red.

Like everyone else I love the trousers (no clue on length tho)! And the whole outfit with either bag. Your hair is just gorgeous; I love all those little curls.

You don't look ridiculous in the coat & hat! They're both quite big & dramatic, so maybe that's why you felt they were too much together...I almost feel like a touch of black in the middle of the coat (either a belt or letting your scarf ends hang out in front) would have tied everything together beautifully. But wear both with confidence & pride. I'm so excited you posted some wiw's.

I love the exaggerated length of the trousers in #1 and #2. They look so 2014. Do they bother you, though - slip under your feet as you stride? I prefer the black bag, actually. I love this outfit.

You are stunning in #6, Queen Hat. Why on earth did you feel ridiculous?

Fantastic moto. The length looks terrific. Shorten the sleeves a little though. Do you still want to return? It's a slam dunk match with your hair.

Love the pants! I prefer the bag in #2 by far, in fact I love the whole outfit in the second picture. The length of the moto doesn't bother me much, but I noticed the sleeve issue instantly.

Last thank you I promise. But thank you! Since I can go by days with no input from anyone who is not family (well I have gotten some positive feedback on my bright pink coat :-)), it is particularly wonderful to get such a supportive reality check.

I have returned the moto - the sleeves were long with zippers, so although they could be fixed, it just didn't seem worth it when I barely have time to wear the rest of my coats.

Amy I want to see those trousers pronto! (I mean if you feel like it of course.)
Angie, you know how much I treasure your kind words. Since the pants taper they do not bother me when I walk. I am going to try them with with my Zara blue Angie booties next and see how it goes.
Jaileen, what a sweet thing to say! I am a bit shy at first but after a glass of wine or two I have my moments!
