DH and I are headed out on a nice loooonnngg car ride to South NJ to spend the 3-day weekend with friends, and there is a Nordstrom's nearby! My BFF Wendy and I will be doing a "little" shopping. I have never been to a Nordie's...oh dear...this could be dangerous...

FF, the necklace is also one of my favs, I forgot to put it in the description - it's a chunky chain link, (reminds me of a dog collar!) from JCP.

It was fun being at Nordie's - great to see close up the merchandise that Angie recommends, and that some others on the forum own. My friend Wendy made several purchases - some very pretty sweaters - but me, nada. I was looking for blazers, but nothing fit to my satisfaction - the curse of narrow shoulders, small boobs, and wide hips They didn't have the Sam Edelman shoes I wanted or the Marc Fisher down jacket (I ordered the Marc Fisher jacket on-line, though). There is a Rack here too but we didn't have time to get there before they closed, so that will be for a future trip. We hit some other stores today too - I didn't purchase much, but I helped my friend Wendy choose new outfits. We left our DH's at Wendy's house, and had a fantastic girls day out!
