I posted about my idea to try some trend colors in accessories away from my face. http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....s-attempts Well, I ended up in this ensemble, and although it looks okay (I think) it does not feel like me at all.
It is overly matchy matchy but that doesn't bother me. I think it's the purse. Got it from a friend years ago and usually I just use it poolside to hold a magazine, sunscreen and a water bottle. Maybe if I'd had a small bright solid crossbody, this would have been a winner. Also, the idea of tonal whites to let the accessories stand out alone, as some of you suggested, would come across better, too.
At any rate, I won't be repeating this one. I suppose the upside is that, eating at a waterfront FL restaurant, I didn't look all that out of place lol. Hey, I tried something new, right?
