I didn't have much time to shop in Italy, but DH gave me one morning to buzz around in Venice and I was lucky enough to find a great shoe store next to a gelato stand in Scandicci. Venice is really an outdoor mall with all sorts of luxury brands sitting next to one another (Chanel, Burberry, Prada all lined up). These stores have great window displays but are totally not in my budget. While wandering I did find a Promod (French H&M style chain) and they were having a big sale so I picked up a few thin cotton shirts.
#1 a favorite picture with me and kids all looking happy to be in the airport preparing for a four rather than 12 hour flight. I brought 3 pairs or well tested shoes including these Harlots from a few years ago.
#2 and #3 new Promod shirt. I like the front but not sure about the back, which I don't have a picture of but you get a glimpse here. Still by then I was sick of wearing my 4 packed shirt options.
#4 look trying to express my feelings as I will not get to shop at the Fausto Santini shoe outlet in Rome (pics #5 and 6). Wearing another new Promod shirt.
#7 DDs both got new summer shoes in Lucca.
#8 enjoying one of our daily gelatos. Wearing Couple Of shoes that have been my trusty companions for 2 years now.
#9 My other long shorts (I packed 3) and bag holding my one slightly pricier top purchase, bought on sale at Stefanel (subject of future post).
#10 shoe teaser. I did buy one pair of shoe while there, and they can be found in this picture. Any guesses?
Hope you enjoy looking as much as I did writing!
