I had to take a very fast, very last-minute trip to Hawaii for work. I've never been to Hawaii before. I left on Sunday, spent Monday in Honolulu in meetings, and flew back on Tuesday. It was a fast trip but I did get a chance to walk down to the beach after work on Monday and I was treated to some fabulous food. Hopefully I'll be back someday for a longer trip.

#1 - for the flight out. I wore the exact same thing except my t-shirt was white speckled on the way back.

#2 Grey cardigan that can be worn buttoned at the collar or open (Photo #4).

#3 - I wore the mustard pants and black and white blouse on Monday at the office.

#4 - I brought a white cardigan to wear in case of overzealous AC but forgot it was stained. I left it in the hotel room and wore the grey cardigan I wore on the plane (photo #2).

#5 - The engineers I was meeting with took me out to lunch for traditional Hawaiian food. They ordered for me and it was so much food! So good though - I even liked the poi (purple goopy stuff in the bowl). I had laulau, lomi salmon, chicken long rice, and kalua pig (not pictured), purple sweet potatoes, potato mac salad, and some sort of coconut dessert.

#6 - Then they took me to get shaved ice for an afternoon snack. This was also ordered for me and was vanilla and strawberry shaved ice with azuki beans and mochi balls.

#7 - Giant bowl of ramen I bought for dinner from a stand by the beach.

Thanks for looking!
