WIW and 14 degrees is COLD - YouLookFab Forum

Not my best look, but it is WIW. (Didn't need to be ironed! Was warm to wear!)

Pic #1 is how I started out, and pic #2 is how I quickly ended up because it was FREEZING today (even at work in the building, burr...). I do like tights, but even though solid ones wouldn't normally have been my first choice (and I know many of you have a poison eye for them), these are fleece lined and did I mention it was cold out today?

When I got home from work, I changed and tried to go jogging, but I had so many layers of clothing on I could barely move - so I came back inside and decided to chat with you lovely ladies (and NPM).

booties: Madden Girl
sweater - F21, it's a few years old and I don't really like it anymore, but again, cold weather...

The dog in the photos is not mine, this is Holly - we are taking care of her while my MIL is in Florida, where it is NOT COLD

I am totally on board with tights.

And yes, 14 degrees is cold! Fleece lined tights are a must!

Well, actually 14F is kind of nice weather for us these days. Last week it was -10F (-25C) so I was loving my down Canada Goose coat when I was outdoors. But the sun was shining so brightly in that blue sky, I had to wear my sunglasses all day.

I am gobsmacked you are wearing tights at all....here it is -18C so even colder than you and I was freezing in my puffer coat and thick leggings yesterday....should have worn my thermals but they were in the wash. Because it has been like that for a few days.

I actually really like the outfit with the cardi. It's balanced, then. And you look bright and determined.

You just look fab. Trendy but not overdone. I have no idea about farenheit but I will take your word for it that that is cold!

I love the tone of the outfit especially how the sweater fits and how you pick it up with the purse and the booties continue the theme. I wish I could see the true color of the skirt -- it is not reading as purple on my screen (it looks blue?) I love this print with purple. Lovely!

This works really well for managing both the workplace and the cold. I like it with the jacket best.

Just great, especially when it's cold. It's weirdly warm here, but in that temp I'd be wearing my fleece-lined opaque tights and down skirt!

Karie I think you look great. I note that you don't love the sweater any more:(. Have you tried tucking it and adding a belt. It might just create a fresh perspective:)
