Yesterday I couldn't get my outfit to come together. I tried this and tried that and finally ran out the door just after switching my shoes from black to patterned. : / Just before heading home, I took a few pics just to remember to work on this. I took the sweater off so that I could get an idea of how the top looks on its own. I was a little surprised by how much nicer this seemed to look in person (pics 1 through 3) than in my memory. Apparently the shoes helped boost this up. I'm open to suggestions and critiques, though! Please!

Nord. cardi (old), ON top (cheap fix when I was looking for something in emerald and blue), JCrew classic wool trousers, Michael Kors patent and woven straw belt (old), J Shoes pumps.

This morning my favorite shirt for this outfit (4 through 6) was in the wash, so I though "Easy! I'll just swap in something else." Not so fast. Six tops later, I had to admit that I was just being weirdly picky and so I took the last thing I tried on (green sweater). I love this pairing of my Everests, jeans and striped jacket. I threw on the necklace to put something light in the top half of this outfit. I'm in love with these jeans because they make my very flat rear look like a bubble bum! Hooray.

Halogen jacket (2008?), BCBG sweater (last legs), BR Heritage jeans (New! Clearance. Hooray!), shoes are Fluevog Everests (my precious!)
