I was out browsing in some shops and having dinner with my friend and I asked her how she would describe my style. She immediately said, "soft, funky, classic". It's interesting how closely her description matched the style descriptor words that I picked for myself. (Easy, Creative, Calm, Graceful, Classic) I think I must be on the right track.

Pic 1. My favorite floral top and railroad stripe shorts (both from J Crew). This was something I wore last weekend. I was serving as my DD's representative for a local art gallery. She does not live here, but some of her paintings are for sale there. (We have known them for years so a casual look was acceptable).
Pic 2. Sweatshirt dress, leggings (J Crew), Topper Bobeau) The weather is changing day to day. It was freezing in the morning so I added the leggings. Normally I would wear the dress without. I liked the look and kept them on all day. It was very comfortable. I spent my day in a classroom for K-2. One of the boys in the classroom I was in called me a "nurse, doctor, teacher, lunch, recess aide!" He wanted to sit next to me all day. I guess the approachable part was successful but he was a bit confused about my role! We will work on that part. The ensemble was great for moving around quickly and for sitting in comfortable positions with small children.

Pic 3. Sleeveless Tuxedo top, White Straight Leg Jeans (J Crew), Converse Missoni shoes (Today I am going to work with teenagers. Something different every day. I have variety in my professional life!) I am a bit uncertain about the shoes, but I like the rest. What do you think. (The office I will be in today is always warm, so no topper today.)
