The oversized Gap jeans are getting a lot of use, though my other jeans mostly fit again (it fluctuates monthly, as usual).

The past two days were hot, almost 90, but today was back to the normal perfection. So I threw on the jeans and a boxy Helmut Lang sonar wool top, then realized the extra-long length meant I could wear these comfy Paul Green heels.

This is plainer and more boring than it was in my head. I was going for casual rocker. It needs a bracelet (I have a great simple black leather cuff) or something. And when did I start slouching? Horrors.

Then, when getting the photos ready, I realized I wore almost the same thing last week, except with a different Helmut Lang sonar wool top! You may remember that this was an impulse buy last fall but I decided the XS was too small. This is the small - it finally went on big sale and I snapped it up. It doesn't actually work so well with the baggy jeans and I'm tempted to shorten it by an inch or two (it's a raw cut edge). Shoes here are my favoritest LD Tuttle pointy ankle-strap flats.

I guess I succeeded at my goal of adding more summer wool tops to my closet!
