WIW. Almost white out for casual Friday.

The pink scarf was outer wear, not part of the plan, but I felt cold!
Any criticism or comments welcome, though mainly putting up to try to create context for my other posts.

Even though the scarf was not not part of your white-out plan, it is very pretty and gives a different look. I like it.

But Anne, isn't it winter? How could you wear that without the scarf and not feel cold? Do you live in Far North Queensland or something? I had in my head you lived in the Sydney area with Bijou but I may be getting muddled. You don't have to say if you prefer to just be Anne from Australia! There must be plenty of those

Bijou and I are both in the west Jenni.This was work wear for a somewhat heated office. I had stockings under the jeans. In the street I wear my wooden coat. At home I rug up more!

Today was forecast to be 8-17.Tonight 4…!

OK somewhat heated office makes sense. And I did think you had bare ankles and feet and I would have frozen. Even nude pantyhose are too cold for me in winter so I essentially wear socks and booties or knee high boots all winter. I can wear not quite so warm things to work because there is a heat pump in my office so I take the jacket off. I like the pink scarf. Otherwise for my own taste the grey and white is a little too plain but you will realise from my posts how much colour I usually prefer to wear even if the "essentials" ( using the term the way Angie does) are often black. As I type I have black 3/4 sleeve layering T and black ponte/leatherette pants but a pink floral tunic over.

Nice! For some reason, I always steer away from monochromatic looks, but this looks very appealing on you. I love the pink scarf. What color are the shoes? I found it hard to make out.

Loving the lighter colors on you -- and the pink is a great pop of color! Once I figured out the laundry issues for lighter clothes, I started doing more white on a regular basis and love it, even with my dark hair and high contrast coloring.

I really like the white and grey and the addition of the pink scarf is so pretty. Isn't it challenging balancing the real outside temp with the inside office heating!

Jenni, I do wearing bright colours too and that pink is one of my favourites.
Becky, It would be more typical of me to wear higher contrast too.

Beth Ann, I'm working on wearing white pants more. This was a rainy day, but I actually only put it on after I got to work and was under cover as I went to a yoga class in my building before work. I wouldn't have worn it otherwise. My dark blue skinnies are getting too old to wear to work, so the white ones are getting more wear.
