I'm in TX for work this week. I arrived and realized it's much colder than I thought. I checked the weather but couldn't conceptualize what 35-40F really felt like. I packed two pairs of shoes - the Pikolinos black boots (which are less comfy than the brown ones but matched my outfits) and black cole haan peeptoe wedge flats. Woops. I felt so out of place running around in the "cold" (cold for Tx) with my toes hanging out while ladies around me were wearing knee high boots. Ha. That issue was solved with the Aquatalia-lypse purchasing spree at Rack (see other post).
Also re cold - Good thing my sister received an online order I made last week and shipped it to me - the minute I got the new coat I put it on to run out for dinner, and have worn it daily since. Anyone looking for a soft yet structured lightweight jacket - chicos has this one in black and grey with a faux fur removable collar.
Anyway - on to the WIWs.
Monday travel day - forgot to snap pics. I wore CJBanks black trousers, a really old purple sweater (foleys brand) and the CK cardi I got a few weeks ago, along with the Cole Haan black wedge flats and an old animal print cool toned scarf that is very similar to one from NAS.
Tues - NYDJ henley top, old INC stretch ponte pants wide leg hemmed long to need heels, pikolinos boots. Some pics with new coat on top.
Weds - new Avenue plaid pants, EF sweater I got at Rack a few weeks ago and CH flats. Tried on with new vest but didn't have guts to wear to work that way.
a few snaps of the new Aquatalias
Thurs - old Macy's ponte straight leg pants, Lane Bryant metallic dot shirt w/open tails in back, more shoe shots
Fri - the plaid shirt from BR that Angie posted about and several fabbers have or are in the process of getting, NYDJ jeans and new Aquatalia patent black boots
Thanks for looking. All feedback welcome.
