WIW all because of YLF

An outfit I would have never worn 1 year ago - white jeans, cream top black and white silk top with off white booties. Still getting used to trying to wear lower rise jeans. These jeans have gone in and out of the give away pile.

Thought it worked now seeing the pics I'm no sure.

All feedback appreciated -

This outfit looks good, Frannie! I like the different shades of white and that gorgeous paisley print top. Why have you debated the jeans? Are the hems cuffed here or not? If not, have you tried rolling them a bit? I think that look works best, with jeans that have a wider leg opening and aren't full length. (Even if they are full length, they can look super cute rolled to above the top of the bootie.)

I LOVE this outfit! I like the way the camisole mirrors the footwear, and the top is just gorgeous. I like the pants, though the true fit is hard to see with the angled photo.

I love your outfit, Frannie, and just think the cami under your top needs adjusting or to be a bit bigger. I buy these as tanks at Target sized up a size, or two if I intend to put them in the dryer.
The cream layer and your booties with white jeans looks sophisticated. Nicely styled!

Exactly what Joy said. This is a great outfit on you -- colours, proportions, footwear, all of it! Sophisticated and a great change. I agree that trying a bigger cami might be the ticket if you aren't comfortable with this.

I think the black/white top and jeans look lovely on you, just not quite sure about the cami. Maybe you could try some of the suggestions others have given to make the outfit even better.

You look good in the jeans, and the 'column of harmonious color' effect suits you, looks calm and intentional and chic. Maybe a size up on the tops for that trendy floaty look?

Thanks everyone - this outfit was a complete departure from normal wear for me and I coming of my love of grey and Navy - I'm actually thinking off-white and white are going to be my summer colors.

Firecracker - the reason the jeans are in and out of the give away pile is they are mid rise and well I just don't do low or mid normally. Yesterday these didn't bother me so they are now out of the give away pile for now again.

I will look into getting a looser fit under shirt for that shirt.

Keep the jeans, FrannieB! They are great on you, and I love them with the off-whites. You can build a lot of different outfits with this type of look.

Also they're a good length for your booties.
