This is a recap of my travel wardrobe I have promised you. I have posted a couple of outfits while I was away, but the rest of them, or at least some - I have recreated at home. I just wanted to have photo-trace of this particular content of my suitcase as I was extra happy and may use it as a cheat-sheet in the future.

In short - I love my wardrobe. I may not have the most exciting pieces, but I am not just at piece with what I have, but I love it all. My wardrobe works for me, I feel great in it and I cannot ask for more.

My planned capsule was posted on separate thread and I pretty much went along with my initial plans. I only had to swap the bags, as my red one does not hold enough of my daily necessities, and I decided to bring my leather jacket at the last moment. Someone also advised extra pair of jeans, which I brought, but never used. 3 different bottoms (jeans, ponte skirt, LBD) were plenty.

On the first day at my destination I was lucky to find the exact kind of scarf I was after for some time - crisp, fresh shade of green, to refresh my wardrobe and which I wore more than any other scarf I brought.

Regarding the wardrobe, I felt ready for anything. I could create endless combinations. I could change outfit within minutes if I had to for whatever reason, without agonising for a second what to wear. I had enough clothes to keep going for another 8 days at least and never tire of it. The weather was not cooperating at all, we had only one sunny day, which is when I wore oxfords (not shown in this collection of outfits), and generally there was a lot less time spent outside than planned, which is why I was looking for any excuse to change whenever I could just to play with all the possibilities when we did go out.

I was actually so happy with everything that apart from the scarf I bought, I deliberately wore only the things I brought with me and not once the turquoise sweater which would have played nicely with everything too. That sweater was used in my Indiana Jones outfit.

And, before I wrap things up, if these ladies stop by:

Shevia - you have asked on one of my threads if I had done something to my hair, but I had no time to respond then. The girl I wanted to have appointment with was on holiday so I did not want to risk too much and only had my hair shortened a bit. And they ironed out the life out of it at the salon, I was not very happy to begin with, but it's better now.

Suz - Thanks for the comment on another thread which summed up how I felt about the wardrobe - nirvana! Also, I think there was a slight misunderstanding during Picture Perfect Challenge, I believe you thought I was dressing out of my suitcase. I was not, but I did wear most of the travel clothes - it was a sort of exercise to see how much a few extras could extend already functional wardrobe, plus I could not get enough of navy+black worn together so I was happy to reuse it in the Star Wars day.

Thanks for reading, now - the photos, my 13 lucky pieces. Things were not worn in this order, btw, except the first and last photos being of my travel outfits. Some outfits are missing, but you get the idea what was going on

ETA: Photo 1 - Mr. O attempting to take a photo and I'm thinking "Oh dear, this is *so not* going to work".
