Not that Springtime needs my help, but nature may have encouraged me to think green and wear my J. Crew navy and green striped popover shirt with my green skinnies (YLF swap from last autumn and I'm thinking this may be another MaryK item...not sure). The ballet flats are Stuart Weitzman and very comfy.

My tailor liked the green pairing as did a Gap SA when I made a quick stop in the store (came out without a package, which is better anyway, but I left with a compliment).

I played around with vests and jackets after reading Angie's amazing blog this morning and seeing her tailored pieces mixing it up in her "Sporty Meets Modern Classic" post. I opted for the more casual blue vest with the cream buttons and then wore it without the vest at another stop. The other pinstripe blazer and vest just seemed a little too-buttoned up for me today. But, the blazer, by itself, would have worked fine IMHO.
