Or, at least it seemed that way!

It all began with singing and playing piano on Sunday morning. I chose my Vince Camuto midi, brighter than this pic looks, and a silky shell that I belted to create a faux peplum. I'm wearing my nude patent leather pumps, too. I was comfy and ready for action.

Some of you will have seen my Vacation Bible School post. I was given the task of teaching the Bible lesson to 3-4 year olds. While it was a big change from college students, in some ways at least, it went well, I think. I make the wise decision to bring in my drum and rhythm instruments, and we danced and sang when things got too wiggly. I vowed to keep the wardrobe interesting by wearing different bottoms each day, and by glamming up to portray Esther. I missed day 4, for some reason. I wore white bermudas that day. After a week, I can count a new blessing: I have a job that doesn't require me to wear a uniform!

Switcheroo! In the afternoons, I crashed for about an hour, and then had a few hours of teaching to do. Here, I'm wearing an example of Angie's earlier post: pencil skirt for summer. This is very simple, but my living room faces west and I need to keep cool with the afternoon sun streaming in! Target pencil skirt and tee. Dr. Scholl's wedge sandals!
What's next? R&R and a little home organization!
