There were definitely more misses than hits this week, but I included them all in the spirit of full disclosure. It was a nice challenge because it made me pull out some of tops that have been left unworn this summer.

1. Gap Bootcut white jeans, Ann Taylor blouse, Gap blazer.
This was a fun departure for me. White jeans and a blazer are not typical work wear for me. I got to wear my blazer for the first time since I got it back from the tailor. I used a lady right across the street from my office and she did a great job. She only charged me $20 while Nordstrom had asked for $50. I think she may have given me a small discount because she was smitten with my 2 yr old. LOL. I'll take what I can get!

2. Loft skirt, Ann Taylor silk blouse, Gap blazer
I ended up swapping out the blazer for a cardigan, and didn't snap a picture. This silk blouse has been unworn for years because I felt it was too "fancy" for work. Silk material, gold color. I decided to give it a whirl anyway, and felt pretty good with it. Tried it untucked and belted for a different silhouette. I'm a novice at belting, so just trying something different.

3. Express pants, Ann Taylor blouse, NY and Co topper
Total outfit failure!! The blouse went into the purge pile. The V neck is too low cut, should have worn it with a cami, plus there is a tie in the back that hurt when I sat back. I wasn't in love with the colors here either. I had on a black and brown blouse but felt the colors were too drab, so changed it out for the green blouse. Should have kept the first one on

4. NY and Co pants, Halogen blouse, NY and Co topper
The earrings are super old, and I always get compliments when I wear them. The only problem with the blouse is that the inner layer tends to slip down and I inadvertently flash people! I was constantly tugging on it to make sure I was fully covered. Any suggestions for fixing that apart from fashion tape?

5. Express pants, Loft blouse, NY and Co cardigan
This is my favorite outfit from the week. This is a bubble hem blouse, and I decided to tuck it in so that it was less voluminous. It felt easy and less fussy than the previous days.

Any suggestions for improvement would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for looking!
