Broke out the red and green for some holiday events today. The green peplum top (which is forest green, although my photos make it look more teal) is new from Nordstroms, and I particularly like how the peplum is constructed with vertical seaming (similar to princess seams) rather than a poufy horizontal seam. I paired it with red Fleuvog booties, red handbag, and my red trench (it was pretty warm again today) for the holiday theme. Was considering going for the full suit (not necessary, but I just wanted to wear it) but J. liked it with the Bellatrix jacket so I went with that instead. This jacket is clearly going to be my holiday MVP. I'm planning on wearing it to something tomorrow (with the bubble skirt) as well.
