WIW: A "One in Black" Duplicate

Today I am wearing my black zippered cardigan's fuschia twin. I am not big on brights, but this shade caught my eye. The colour is a bit darker; it looks almost like someone tipped a bit of black dye in the vat. What do you think - does it work with all this black?

I smiled when I read Angie's Seasonally Confused Winter Outfits post (http://youlookfab.com/2013/12/.....r-outfits/) because I am one of those people in ballet flats and pumps in the winter. I carry my weather-inappropriate shoes to work, though, because I also am grumpy when I am cold! Today I pulled wooly socks and slouchy boots over my ankle pants for the commute and stayed toasty warm.

I like your description and have used a similar term-- I call them "blackened brights". I love these and seek them out. It may be somehow part of the color itself or may be the tiniest bit of black yarn woven into the knit somehow. To me, something about that small detail helps me mix & match the items with black basics. There can also be blackened neutrals--I have a camel coat that is not classic pure camel--though I still like that a lot--but has a bit of black and/or gray fiber mixed in.
