WIW: A little UWP for work

I'm experimenting with fitting into my new work situation while still keeping my own sense of style. Not easy with so little time for photos! Fortunately, the dress code is less formal than I expected.

So here we have an outfit inspired by MaryK's sweatshirt with pencil skirt, though not her brilliant color combo. Gap mesh sweater, old Michael Kors python pencil skirt, DV booties, and my twisty metallic necklace. I enjoyed wearing this though DH claimed I was "clomping around".

I don't understand the "clomping around" comment? To me, you look great. I like the skirt and the necklace to dress up the sweater, and the ankle boots are always great (in my mind, they go with almost anything). I really like this outfit!

I think it was the boots on the wood floor early in the morning.

I'm glad you are able to inject some of your personality into your work wardrobe - so much more fun that way! Love the sweatshirt, too. I may even wear one tomorrow!

Love it! Great silhouette. And one of my favorite things to do, light-to-dark gradient going top-to-bottom. I am especially liking that you have the lightest part up by your face! Have you gotten into wearing any white while I was away, or are we still working on that?

This really does look like you and it looks very professional as well! Perfect balance. And I personally love the neutrals with a little dose of black. (Don't you think some boots have louder heels than others? )

This is fabtastic! I have one of those twisty necklaces and I can never get it to look that good!
