Today, I'm wearing a handknit waistcoat layered over my voluminous allsaints tee and the ubiquitous VC tube skirt. I think I've mentioned here recently that I find this super hectically oversized tee too voluminous these days, but I'm enjoying finding ways to layer over it to rein in the volume. I thought this combo looked a little steampunky with the fitted waistcoat and circus stripes. Lace up boots seemed like they would be too costumey, so I opted for my slouchy suede cowboy boots instead. What do you think? I'm enjoying getting back to my old neo-Victorian ways, haha.

(handknit waistcoat, allsaints tee, VC tube skirt, Sam Edelman boots, Spiegel lemming jacket, ??? scarf, Longchamp bag).
