Lots of casual wear was required at work this week. The end of the year brings many different learning opportunities. Comfort was critical, but I hoped to keep a little polish.
#1,2 For greenhouse tours and doing our own planting. I liked the neutrals with the colorful scarf. Wearing the light colors was risky for me, but I stayed clean. Win!
#3,4. Walking field trip to tour the local PD and firehouse. This was my least favorite. I received many compliments on the top, but looking at the pic, it reads too IT. I think a wider pair of crops would work better.
#5 Just a little bling with an outfit you have already seen. A girl has got to be happy, right?!
#6 Not my best outfit and not my best day. We had our first Swim Gym trip to the local Y. I was on poolside duty with children who were uncomfortable getting in the water (or even near the water). Even with extra adults, one of my students needed lifeguard assistance. He is fine, but it was awful. One of my worst fears realized. I hope that was the first and last Swim Gym. I bet he does, too.
#7,8 This dress! It is sooo comfortable! We had a Grandfriends’ Celebration, which is a very sweet event with many special people in attendance, either physically or via FaceTime, Skype, etc. it was also a designated Wear Red day, so I added the sweater. Meh. I removed the sweater after photos were taken and was happier with my outfit.
Thoughts? Ideas for improvement? Individually, I like all the pieces. As we know, sometimes the parts do not come together to equal a fab total. A new strategy is sometimes required to achieve the best result.
