It was chilly here so I bundled up a little for my semi-annual trip to the dermatologist in a newish denim dress. (It's available at Nordstrom but I got the petite version in a Short Story box.) I saw a similar dress paired with a striped top underneath in a catalog that was mailed to me recently, so I tried that out, along with a beloved cashmere bandana from a trip to Paris a few years ago. I replaced the self belt with a black belt to tie in the black boots, which I wore because it was cold!
In the evening we went to a concert at the Walt Disney Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, and I got to bust out my new Sanctuary velvet jacket. It was toasty warm and I was pretty happy with it. Teamed it with velvet jeans and a sweater from Talbots from a couple of years ago, and black booties.
