WIW 9/9 Plaid and fringe

So it has cooled down significantly but not enough for me to try my faux fur leopard jacket. I was going to do a variation on this

I tried my plaid shirt with my black/white/grey leopard cardigan, but the neckline on the cardigan was all wrong, and the sleeves didn't cooperate.
So I settled on this:
H&M military blazer (two-three years old), plaid shirt from Marshalls (about three years old), H&M oxblood pleather skinnies, Plomo fringe boots (recent Gilt sale), and Subversive gold multi chain and ball necklace (Barneys, three years ago), Alexander Wang gold studded bottom bag (two or three years ago).
I guess this is a definitely high-low mix of an outfit.

This is so fab that I had to log in and say, wow! I love the colors and textures of this. The plaid, the gold necklace, the pleather, the fringe--sooo cool, Anna. I must say that you never seem to have a miss these days--you look confident and gorgeous every time you post! How DO you do it?

ohh the jacket with those oxblood skinnies where enough to shout over but adding those fringe booties. yowza. Love. I cannot believe it, I am modestly doing the same trend as you! Fringe, flannel, maroon, and leather. I feel so edgy now.

Love it! And love that your lipstick is somehow the exact same colour as your pants.
I'm so jealous that you get to wear fall clothes already - I'm sick of summer peep toes and sandals, I want to wear my boots dammit!

Well I think I need to find coated or waxed oxblood skinnies. Luckily I hadn't cut the tags and still had the receipt for the pleather skinnies. As I was walking around my place, the two snaps at the waist band would not stay snapped. Serious wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.

It's not particularly hot today, mid sixties. So they felt fine. I would have kept them if it wasn't for the snaps' issue.

I am awaiting a vintage leopard coat I just ordered on eBay; hope it looks as good as your link. Maybe I'll style it and post mt first WIW! Won't be as edgy as your post. Or your inspiration but maybe it will prompt my first post!

Lovely outfit, you rock and roll! I love the touches of gold, that really elevates things, and your mix is superb.

There may be a fix for your snaps ... if you're feeling a little DIY-ish...

Heh. i was just making fun of those exposed crotch zipper pants and look!!! they're they are (on KOS. Don't know if yours are the same).

Sorry to hear your pants didn't work out though. Great look. Denise tried to tell me we were the only forum members to do fringe so i'm glad to see you enjoy it too! I need to wear my fringe boots more!

Actually the jacket and boots are black. And yes they're the exposed zipper pants you saw and didn't like.

That's a bummer about the snaps on the pants, because this outfit ROCKS! Just gorgeous! I love how the gold necklaces echo your hair, and the color palette is beautiful on you. And you know how I feel about plaid :)!

Love this! I tried on some similar pants last week (waxed skinnies) but they just weren't fitting right at all and I wasn't sure how much that kind of material would give over time. H&M is selling something similar jeans, if this link works

No worries on your opinion on the pants. I agree they were a bit on the tacky side with the huge exposed zipper. Sometimes I'm tacky.
