WIW 9/4: Turquoise and lime and white shoes after Labor Day

Angie posted a turquoise and lime combo on her Pinterest a while ago, and today I decided to copy the colors! September is the hottest month here, so white shoes and a straw bag after Labor Day seem totally appropriate!

Turquoise pencil skirt: Halogen
Lime knit top: Talbots
White striped shoes: Rocket dog
White belt: Target
"Straw" tote: GAP

WOW - great colors for the queen of the colors. It's hot here too. I've debated all weekend wether to pack up the whites and decided only the linens (and I might go crazy and wear my white linen long sleeve shirt one more time) Belts are always fair game and your shoes are more than white.

The green and turquoise is really pretty, nice color blocking outfit here. I plan to wear my white items throughout Sept before packing them up for fall.

Luscious colors! Those shoes almost read as a nude on you because of the pattern. You can bet I'm wearing white after Labor Day too. Rock on, you look fab!

Stunning outfit! I think this combo has great energy, without being overwhelming. Somehow, I'm not loving the earthy quality of the straw bag with it -- although I love the bag itself. Maybe a nude or color in a more structured form? OK -- it's hard to pick on your fabness -- I just know that, if I were as fab as you, I'd want all the nitpicky feedback I could get so I could retain my crown as "Queen of Sophisticated Uses of Color!"

Love the outfit! I agree with Beth Ann - the straw bag looks big on you. Even though it's straw which adds a light feel. It seems more casual somehow.

I love the turquoise and lime with the white belt! I'm ignoring the "no white after Labor Day" thing too. I also have white shoes on today, although mine are bright white and hard to miss.

Denise, I go by the weather. Here in So Cal, it's cold in June and hot as can be in September, so I dress accordingly, white shoes, white pants, and all!
