WIW 9/4: Dressier White jeans

White jeans are one of my favorite jeans; I wear them all the year. As it's still warm, I've been wearing my light white jeans these days with floral fluid blouse, semi-tucked and sandals. (#1)

Inspired by this Angie’s post I plan to wear white jeans with some earthy accents this month, as soon as it cools down. All pieces are old, except white jeans. Here are the combinations: white jeans, leopard print blouse, cognac pumps and belt and ivory necklace (#2). The topper is cinnamon
suede jacket (#3) or my ‘70 camel jacket (my favorite jacket). I put cognac
bag.(#3 and #4)

Love these outfits. They progressively became richer and richer with the addition of the warm tones and that fur collar in the last one just topped it off like sprinkles on a cupcake

These are all wonderful (as usual). The combination with the caramel in #3 is particularly stunning, though.

Mirjana, you look fab, as always. My favourite is #4--I love that fur collar, and the whole outfit just looks so perfect and harmonious, with the bag and shoes echoing the brown of the jacket, and the white parts of the blouse echoing the white jeans.

Interesting that you wear your white jeans year round. It's only one year ago that I re-started wearing white jeans. (Hadn't worn white jeans in decades, but Angie's posts convinced me I could.) I wore them quite many times last summer. And this year I started wearing them in spring. I have thought about wearing them in fall also, but been unsure how to style them for fall. So it's really great to see this inspirational post from you!

While I now feel tempted to try styling my white jeans for fall days, I still doubt that I'll want to wear them when winter comes. Do you have "real" winters (with snow, ice, slush and freezing temperatures, peeatures) where you live? Are your white jeans warm enough then, and what are your strategies for keeping them white when wearing them ouside the house?
