WIW 9/23 and 9/24: The Fair and the office

1. Yesterday Hubby and I went to the Los Angeles County Fair and had a grand old time even though it was ridiculously hot! I I think this B44 knockoff top and linen blend pants will be great for our upcoming trip to the tropics!

2. Back to the office today after three days of working the night phone shift from home. Weatherman says it may be the last super hot day so I am taking my most summery pieces out or one last time.

Sleeveless navy linen top: Lauren by Ralph Lauren
Red cotton pencil skirt: Halogen
White cotton blazer: Classiques Entier
Multi pumps: Rocket Dog
Yellow bag: Tignenello

Holy cats, you survived the LA Fair in sleeves?? DH and I used to go every year, but we skipped it this year because of the heat. You did look totally cool in those linen pants.

Rae, the sleeves are a must for sunburn avoidance!! And we spent a lot of time in the air conditioned wine tasting pavilion!

Let's hope the weatherman doesn't let us down!!

I love those linen pants on you and that top with them. I think I have the same ones (J Crew?) and haven't brought them out to play this season. I like this look so much I'm going to try to track down a similar top. That way, when a trip to the tropics suddenly appears on my horizon, I'm all ready!

I went to the NM State Fair yesterday with my kids and hubby but you look far more stylish than I did. I love your linen pants and striped top. The hat is the perfect finishing touch

I so adore that blue striped top on you, MaryK. Love it with the white trousers, silver pendant and straw hat and bag. Perfect for the fair!
Outfit 2 is fab too, I would never think of pairing the polka dot shirt with those fab striped pumps, love it.

You know, I love the way you have been carefully trying out some trip outfits in these last days of summer. You look gorgeous in those trousers. They're going to be a workhorse for you. As for the office look, it's just your usual gorgeousness!

The rear seems fine! My butt looks pretty cute in 'em, if I do say so myself, and there are flap pockets which help mitigate any see-through issues!

How could your butt not look cute?! These are both fabulous last-bit-of-summer looks. I really love that white jacket--it's so fab and just smartens up every outfit!
