WIW 9/2: The plaid shirt goes to the office

I loved Angie's blog post this morning and it inspired me to take out my plaid shirt! And of course it wouldn't be the day after Labor Day without old contrarian me wearing my white skirt!

White skirt: Zara
Plaid shirt: Target (boys' dept)
Navy blazer: Olivia Moon
Brown pumps: Jessica Simpson
Cognac satchel: Banana Republic

I am really digging my brown accessories these days and I feel like maybe they give a nod to the calendar even though it's still quite hot here.

In house news, over the weekend I did the most important home improvement yet: A place for the keys! LOL

I love the brown of your purse -- it's so rich and caramel-y! No secret that I love blue with white. I am also a big fan of aqua so that plaid shirt is right up my alley. It's such a classic look with brown accessories as opposed to any other color.
Way to go on that massive home improvement project this weekend ;-)!
