WIW 8/9: Black and white and brights

I got this skirt for a song at Nordstrom and it makes me feel so happy! (It's still available for $19.95 for lucky size 12P!) For casual-ish Friday I kept it simple with a cardigan rather than a blazer, and a bright top and contrasting bag.

Black and white pencil skirt: Halogen
Black cardi: GAP
Cobalt top: thrifted
Yellow tote: Tignanello
White pumps: Jessica Simpson
Megapearl pendant: Asos

I feel like the photo isn't particularly flattering but I was happy with how it looked in person. What say you all? I always appreciate any comments or suggestions for improvement!

Ooh, black and white with cobalt and yellow is one of my favorite combinations! I love that skirt!
I sort of want to put something white up at the top to balance the white in the lower half. Maybe a shorter necklace with white?
