WIW 9/8 and 9/9: Neutrals and not-quite-a-suit

1. Yesterday was all neutrals with some print-mixing for interest.

2. Today I felt like a little color so I'm wearing my not-quite-matching cobalt skirt and jacket with this fab turquoise shirt that Carter was nice enough to pass on to me! And white-after-Labor-Day accessories!

And in house news, my designer posted this awesome "vision board" for the master bathroom on her instagram this morning! Big fun! And here's the test swatch for the fun turquoise ceiing in that room!

love the combination of patterns in #1 (it will be on my list of to-dos!). I would prefer to see it with a black handbag for balance and to allow the two other prints to take the stage.

I adore your pattern-mixed neutrals Mary. It's a look after my own hear! Would you share the paint color on your ceiling, or is that a trade secret? Whenever I try to choose a turquoise paint it ends up looking like "swimming pool blue"-- too bright and garish to be sophisticated. Yours has the perfect amount of grey mixed in to calm it down.

Dunno how I missed this, but am wowed especially by #1. SUPER fun print mix and of course the graphic white (with some black) makes my heart sing. Our bathrooms are inverted! We've got turquoise on the walls (almost the same shade, see below) and white for the floor/ceiling.
