WIW 8/23: Navy and white and a pop of yellow

These are some of my favorite summer pieces so I decided to wear them all together today! I started out with a white bag but decided to switch out for the yellow to add that little bit of sumpin sumpin.

Watercolor print skirt: Halogen
Navy polka dot top: Lauren by Ralph Lauren via consignment (altered for less boxiness)
White tuxedo jacket: Classiques Entier
White pumps: Jessica Simpson
Yellow tote: Tignanello

Thanks for looking! Do you think I made the right call on the bag? Any suggestions for improvement?

I like the pattern mixing a lot! Looks good. Whar does your Amber Sun jacket look like with this?

I like the yellow bag too.

White or yellow bag would work here. The yellow is fun to add more color and a great pattern mix with the dots and print here. Yellow shoes would work in place of the white one's too!

I think that the skirt pattern has part of it with a yellowish cast that the yellow bag works.

I wore my white blazer today, thanks to you and Shannon! I felt great! you look fabulous in all these pieces, and the pattern mix is wonderful. Now I have serious yellow bag envy.

I call my yellow bag "Goldilocks." Only bit of yellow I own, but I love her.

Love this -- and that white jacket is still going strong.

I guess I may be somewhat old school in my thinking. I am not sure about the pattern mix. I like the pop of yellow.
