Keepin' it real because I considerred swapping shoes for the photo, but these Chacos are what I wore today. They bookend my sunglasses!

The skirt is one of the few pieces I added this summer. It's from Not Perfect Linen, an Etsy shop that has grown in popularity to the point where the wait times are sometimes one or two months. I ordered in June and received my skirt and tank (and two scrumptious waffle weave towels!) in mid-July. I'll show the tank at some point, but I think I want to take up the arm holes a bit (typical alteration for me with sleeveless tops). I love the colour of this skirt, its weight and swishiness, its brass buttons, and it looks great with nearly all of my summer tops. This is my trusty old grunge-y gingham top, secondhand and on it's third summer with me.

Haven't trimmed my hair all summer, though it could probably use it. Maybe I'll get around to it between now and Labor Day. Now that I'm past the awkward in-between grow-out stage, I'll probably leave it in bob form til at least next spring. I'm too much of a wimp with the cold to chop my hair in the fall or winter.
