WIW 8/21 and 8/22: Stripes times two, featuring VC tube skirt

1. This outfit is the exact same formula as Monday's outfit, with different colors. All these pieces are old favorites and I felt great wearing this to the weekly Rotary lunch.

2. I have been admiring the VC striped midi on others, and after Angie encouraged me to give it a try and Mo posted a great sale on the petite version, I decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did! Bonus: this citron blouse has been kind of a closet orphan but I kind of like it with this skirt.

Oh goodness! I love both outfits!! Your de bombing is a success. My immediate reaction was chic! I have the AT neon citron shorts and I bought a matchy match sweater to go with, but I also really like it with white and I have a black and white striped t. Great minds think alike!

Since I'm such a stalker, not a poster...that neon citron blouse could be really cute with your magenta skirt.

I really love the muted colors of #1 on you and the navy heels, handbag, studded belt, and "bee" blouse take this from what could have been kind of blah, to an outfit that is both elegant and fun! I also really like #2 - you rock the tube skirt - and "welcome back from the orphanage" citron blouse! Its so nice to see you again!

I really like the poufy bob. It looks pretty and youthful. Somehow brings out your rosy cheeks.

I like the poofy bob, too, but it's going away. Too much maintenance and I have some things coming up that require low-to-no maintenance hair for a while! So we will enjoy it for a few more days and then we will welcome the Flat Bob! LOL

I like the flat bob too. Nice to change things up. Flat - pouf - flat - pouf - flat - pouf - flat.

And now I have a visual of Puff the Magic Dragon who lived by the sea. I guess pouf-talk reminds me of Puff.
