WIW 8/11 and 8/12: Leopard skirt and white shirt, two ways

I like to repeat outfits from the weekend to work, and vice versa. Sunday I went to a play and tossed a Levi's denim vest over my leopard pencil skirt and white shirt. Was so happy with the look I decided to repeat it for work today, changing out the vest in favor of my ponte knit moto jacket!

White shirt: Kirkland
Belt: Streets Ahead
Pumps: Jessica Simpson
Vest: Levi's
Clutch: Nine West
Jacket: Tahari

What do you think? Do these work? And does anybody else wear the same outfit twice in a row for different occasions?

My fave is with the denim, because it's unexpected. And you look so great in the blue.

I sometimes do this too (switch up an outfit just a bit for different occasions). I'll change a shirt for a more casual sweater, or switch out the toppers, as you've done.

I sometimes do it but rarely do I have functions that follow each other anymore. Might wear something to the doctor and then out with friends coffee, not as extreme different occasions as you.

I love it with the vest. It's a bit of a surprise, but it takes the starchiness out of the shirt/skirt combo. The proportions are pleasing too.

I often repeat my Sunday morning church outfit on Monday for work. It feels great not to have to think of a new outfit!

Wow, how fab! Both are really good outfits, but I agree that the denim vest adds an unexpected twist. I often wear variations of an outfit in a row, like you do here.

Yes! I do this all the time. It helps keep my wardrobe down in size when I can easily transition outfits from work to weekends. I adore the denim and leopard together here.

Both work, but I love the vest version best. Thank you for showing me how to wear the denim vest. I don't often mix my work and weekend wardrobe except casual Fridays for me sometimes result in a similar mix. I might try this look with my new (had no idea how to style until now) denim vest for a nice change from my standard jeans+blazer Friday look.

This looks esp. great with the denim vest. I must say, this is one of the few times I've seen a denim vest that looked feminine in just the right way (I often get that "trucker" vibe from them). You look fantastic here, polished with just the right touch of casual.
