WIW: 7/9 Shorts and Boho Top

This is a very casual outfit I’ve worn quite a bit for the last 3 summers (or maybe 4). I'm wearing it today at home for catching up on stuff after vacation. The top is from Antropologie with a woven yoke and a knit body so it’s somewhere in that area between a t-shirt and a blouse. It’s sleeveless and requires a racer back bra. I shortened it a little and sort of wish I hadn’t…I no longer make that mistake. Definitely boho. The shorts are old denim bermudas. All three of these pieces are items I keep thinking I’m tired of, but then I'm not. I will keep wearing them for another summer methinks.

That is a lovely casual summer outfit. I don't see anything wrong with any of the three items, so if you still like them you should keep wearing them.

Thanks Tanya and Bridgie, as I said I will definitely keep at least for one more summer. I also must keep reminding myself that my summers are short but quite hot, and we don't like to turn on the Air Conditioning too much at home, so I do need to change clothes multiple times some days.

If the top and the shorts feel comfortable, keep them, as they are useful when you are doing chores like the ones you have done today. We all need some comfortable "home outfits".

I love your sandals, the style as well as the colour, and would like to find a similar pair. So if I were you, I would absolutely keep the sandals and wear them to pieces. In my opinion, they look casually elegant, will be a suitable choice for a variety of occasions and go with practically all other colours.

Isn't it fun when we can reach Ralph it over and over again or reach one individual pieces I think love should be warm. I really like the print on that top the whole thing altogether was it a tunic before?

Thanks the Cat. These sandals are Sofft brand and have been real workhorses. The soles are a bit thin so not great for hours of walking but otherwise I love them. You are right, they DO go with everything. I figured out a few months ago that cognac is THE anchor color for me; it bookends my hair and anything that looks good with cognac will fit into my wardrobe and will be a good color for me.

Yes Ledonna! The top was just a bit longer, but not a tunic. I have found that with my pear shaped body, having the hem of tops hit just above the widest part of my thighs is the most flattering length but it took some time to figure this out and I shortened some tops (like this one) just a wee bit too much IMHO.
