I cleaned out my closet last night (one benefit of living alone is you can start a project like that at 8:30 on a work night!) and found this oldie-but-goodie top hidden away in a corner. It was one of my first post-YLF purchases and I love it now as much as when I bought it. The skirt is the first of, uh, about a dozen Halogen pencil skirts I've collected and is also still much-loved!
Silk print top: Escada via consignment
Fever pink pencil skirt: Halogen
Black cotton blazer: Halogen
Flower pin: AT Loft
White satchel: Banana Republic
Black and white pumps: T.U.K.
You can't see it very well in the photos, but the print on the blouse is a pointellist print made up of little dots, and the white part of the shoes has little black dots, which makes my dotty/matchy heart sing!
What do you think? Is the flower pin "so 2011" or does it still work? Other comments or suggestions? Inquiring minds want to know...
