I went to a friend’s 50th birthday party last night — just a casual drinks and bbq thing, but it was fun. The weather was perfect — as the sun went down it was about 80 and low humidity, a rarity here!
This dress was a random find in Marshall’s a little while back. I think it was $25 and I enjoyed wearing it on vacation in Mexico, but I’m also enjoying it here at home. The print seems to be flattering and disguises my fluff, and the skits are fun without being too revealing. I dug out my old flat Cole Haan sandals because we were going to be in a grassy park location, and added my tiny crossbody bag so I wouldn’t have to think about where to put my purse.
I just got my hair cut and colored, but the light was insufficient to really capture the color here. There are splashes of teal and purple around the sides and back. I’ll try to get better pics later in the sun.
