WIW 7/19 - Casual Friday and New KS Purse (maybe!)

It's casual Friday, so that means jeans in my office. I selected my straight leg pair which I have been wearing so much I duplicated (especially after how hard it was to find these, and now they are closing them out). Paired with a fun Nic and Zoe top. I like this top as I feel it dresses down well with jeans but still dresses up well with a pencil skirt or dress pants.

I am showing the new Kate Spade bag I am considering in picture 2 so you can see what it looks like "on" me. The bag is pretty big, and it has a lot of room left in it after I put what I normally carry in my purse in it (including a snack trap for DD's Cheerios!)

Trying to decide:
1. Stick with the Grey. Keep and love it!
2. Go black instead (not sure why I feel this way as the grey matches. Maybe it is a subconcious thing that black is dressier or more practical?)
3. If I should reconsider this size bag for me.

Give it to me straight on both the outfit and the bag!! (Especially the bag though as this is the most I have ever spent on a handbag! But it is a treat, and I have worked hard for it, so I sorta feel like I deserve the treat. And a treat keeps me motivated through another grueling weight lifting stage!)

If ever there was a non-black bag for you, this is it! It is so adorable on you. I love that it is not black. It seems softer and more lady like that way, but still structured.

I like the bag for you a lot. The size is good for work (IMO) and the grey softens it a bit.

Did you see it in B&W? I wondered about that colorway, too.

I haven't seen the other colors in person, only online. There is not a retailer I know of in my area that carries Kate Spade. Our highest end department store is Macy's, and they don't carry the brand.

Probably for the best, overall. I got a gorgeous Brahmin bag for Christmas that I carry now because I saw it and had to have it Granted, I used a coupon to get it at 25% off, but it was still a huge emotional purchase. And I never make emotional purchases. Just not me. But, it's CPW is already less than $5.

Oh please keep the bag. It looked lovely with your coats, it fits you, and I think the gray is an even nicer option than black.

I LOVE the bag for your style. It's structured, girly, polished and pretty - just like your style. But you have to love it too. Think about it a little more

I'm with everyone else about the bag. It looks great and is still dressy and lady-like in gray. The most important question, though, is are you feeling it? If you're not, then I'd return it.

I think as a treat reward for all your hard work, it should speak to you like your Brahmin. But that is my bossiness showing.
