WIW 7/17: More swappins and matchins

I had heard about the Express "Editor" pants and lo and behold I scored a pair at last weekend's YLF swap!! They have a green pinstripe in them so naturally I had to team them up with my neon green matchy matchy blazer and belt. What do you think?

Pants: Express via swap
Tank: Old Navy
Belt: Amazon marketplace
Shooties: Seychelles
Apple green blazer: GAP
Bracelet: swap
Croc bag: Dooney & Bourke via eBay

Oh, and the crossbody bag is new. I had a Dooney bag in this same color croc finish a few years ago when I was a one-bag-at-a-time girl, and loved it so much I wore it out. So when I saw this one on eBay I had to have it. I think it's a great neutral!

OMG - I LOVE this combination MaryK! Those trousers are fabulicious on you - and the perfect length too?! Adore the pairing with the neon green jacket and belt. The bag is gorgeous and you are right that it's a great neutral. This is a fantastic outfit from pretty head to pretty toe!

OMG, LOOK at the life you have breathed into my pants! I never did them this kind of justice. Love love love the beige with the neon elements. The matching belt is killeriffic!

I love the outfit matchy-matchiness, but my eyes want to see a different color belt just because the jacket/belt match is so close and it breaks up the column of color. FWIW, since you're the expert and I'm a newbie.

Interesting thought, Sylvie. I did identify a "light tan belt" wardrobe hole this morning as I was getting dressed!

Green is my favorite color, and I *drool* over this outfit. Somehow the neon is highlighted and tamed at once. Tan belt sounds cool too, would also like to see with a darker green belt, just for kicks.

I did have a tan belt in mind but that might be too neutral for the queen of color. I really like JulieJohn's suggestion of a dark green belt and Jjsloane's suggestion of a metallic belt. I bet a rose gold would be *gorgeous*

Sylvie, I splurged on the distressed ivory belt with multi-metallic studs from Angie's blog post yesterday. I think it will be amazing with these pants!
