WIW 7/13: Leopard and citron for the salon and the movies

Went to get my hair dyed... er, done today, and I'm going to see WWZ later with a friend. I've had this top since before YLF and I still love it. Had to struggle a bit to find accessories to go with the citron pants but I'm happy with my decision to go with basic black.

Leopard top: INC
Citron pants: GAP
Black satchel: Cole Haan
Black sandals: Naturalizer
Turquoise pendant: consignment

What say you? Does it work for a casual Saturday?

It works brilliantly! How is it that you can also wear any style of neckline, as well as any color? This is just not fair!

Una, I'm psyched. I loved the book and although I know the movie isn't the same story, it's zombies and it's Brad Pitt, so that's pretty much enough for me! :p

Notice how great she even looks in the salon chair, her citron pants working so well with the black capelet and the capelet bookending with her fun sandals....

Sounds like a great Saturday, and your outfit choice was perfect. I say I can't wear citron, but I must remember that it simply doesn't work with my complexion. My fanny doesn't care! I'm afraid citron might be overkill with cobalt, however!

How was the movie? Yes, it may have one BP, Brad Pitt, but it doesn't have the other ---- Bernadette Peters!

This seems to me like a perfect outfit for a Saturday. Love the colour lime (citron?) and the print.

Oh! I'm wearing a version of this right now to go to the movies! I'll try to get a photo. Leopard sleeveless top, dark brown cardi, citron jeans, brown sandals, cheetah bag. Where you went with black, I used chocolate. I love your version more. The black adds more depth and interest

It looks fantastic MaryK. I would never think to put leopard with yellow - red and blue are always the default. Brilliant. I LOVE the touch of tourquoise. You really have a way with color. Enjoy !

Mary, we saw 20 Feet From Stardom. It was a fun trip down memory lane for fashion as well as the music. I'd recommend it highly. I sort of expected booze, drugs and sex but was pleasantly surprised. If you watch The Voice, Judith Hall is a major part of the movie.
