WIW 7/10: Gray and tan and coral

I got this skirt to go with the Hibiscus Nexx shirt, and then I thought I was going to return the shirt, so I snagged this blazer at the consignment store. Today was really hot so it seemed like a good day to debut it all.

Print cotton pencil skirt: Halogen
Ivory embellished tank: Old Navy
Coral blazer: Tahari via consignment
Pink pumps: Kate Spade
Gray croc tote: Talbots via eBay
Shades: Armani Exchange via consignment

What do you think? Does it work? I must say I have been SUPER happy that I bought a few of these lightweight cotton skirts for summer at the office!

Seirously, though, you are rocking these cotton or lightweight pencils as well as you rock the Halogen seamed skirt. And I LOVE the pattern ones on you.

Love this! I love the pattern on the skirt and the grey and it very much works with the jacket and shoes! I think the skirt would look great with grey, or green, or cobalt too if you ever wanted to remix.

Love. Love. Love. I've got the Vince Camuto blazer that looks close to the same color and now want that skirt! How long is the skirt from the waist and does it have any hem to be let out? (I had Nordstroms let out the hems in my Halogen seamed pencil skirts, so it can be done.)

Joy, the skirt is 20 inches long and I think the hem is deep enough to let out. It's on sale right now in limited sizes.

Renee, the jacket is a 4P. I suspect it was probably originally part of a suit, but I bought it on its own at the consignment store.

Beautiful! I live the unexpected addition of the slate gray bag. I wouldn't have thought of emphasizing the gray tones in the skirt and having this work so well as an accent color.
