I am really liking navy lately. I don't have a lot but I believe I will continue to add this color. If only I could glfund navy shoes....grrrr!

This skirt is stretchy and so comfy. I got it at Old Navy and am pleased with the quality (ie the stripes are matched) especially for the price.

The top is from Anthro and it has a wonderful texture. I tried to show the detail of the cutout in the back.

I tried a few different shoes this morning and settled on these pewter sandals. So I went matchy with the clutch. Does it work with the navy?

Love the navy..I am trying to find navy pieces that will go with black and a new Zara blazer...The pewter shoes are way better than navy...I will have to look at Anthro to check out the top...Great look...

You look great already, but if you're still on the navy shoe hunt I will say that Stuart Weitzman has a shoe leather color called Sea Crystal Snake that works extremely well with navy. It's better than a flat navy because it doesn't have to be the perfect match, and it also adds some texture to an outfit. I have the Power pump, but there are also a bunch of other styles.

You look fantastic! It works, it works. The pewter accessories are outstanding with this outfit, no navy needed here I'm also looking for navy sandals/shoes, waiting for them to be available again. You're sending me straight to Old Navy this weekend, to check out the skirt, I really like the length and I can purge my "short one."

Thank you so much, everyone, for your kind words. This outfit is an example of what has become my favorite (and pretty much daily) way to dress...2 pieces, with at least one having some sort of interest, that are easy to put together and comfortable to wear. Add shoes, bag, a ring and earrings and a watch or bracelet and done!

I actually bought this top with a navy skirt in mind that I ended up returning. I kept the top because I thought it would work well with jeans and white jeans, forgetting about this skirt which is even better with it than the other would have been. Plus I can wear it pretty much year round.

Ummlila, I will try to check out those shoes,,,thank you for the recommendation.

If they still have the skirt, I definitely recommend it. It came in several color combinations; I sort of wish I had gotten more than one.

Just wanted to add....my desire for a navy shoe wasn't specific to this outfit- I actually prefer to add a bit of contrast with a solid top like this. It is more of a universal need!

Great outfit! Since there are so many shades of navy, pewter, silver, in footwear are best choices. I too am loving navy this season. Have been lucky to find navy pointy toe pumps that fit and are comfy, I am wearing them a lot with my navy blazer and tops, but you are right navy footwear is not easy to find. Luckily I also found navy loafers, and have pewter flats,and old silver sandals from 3 years ago.
