Here is my version of the easy chinos ensemble, inspired by the ensemble on the right, and executed in lilac instead of pink. It was based on lilac BR utility Sloan pants, which are a cross of chinos and typical Sloan pants. The fabric is more chino-like, but with more stretch then usual.
I combined the pants with white LOFT short-sleeved sweater with ruffle hem, classic Gap denim jacket, dove grey Trouve pointy sneakers, silver RM satchel, and long scarf in shades of blue and purple. I quite enjoyed wearing this outfit, and will try more iterations with my two pairs of BF chinos once I try shrinking them in the dryer.
